The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal presentation

The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal was presented to all cave rescue personnel to commemorate their service to the community. On 14 June 2012 members of the Gloucestershire Cave Rescue Group were, appropriately, underground at Clearwell Caves in the Forest of Dean to receive their medals from dignitaries Tony Forster (HM Inspector of Mines), Richard Berry (Assistant Chief Constable for Gloucestershire Constabulary), Ceri Evans (Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire) and Jon Hall (Chief Fire Officer for Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service). Judith Calford and I were invited guests to shoot some photos of the event.
